The Bonsai Ethics: Pruning the Complexity of the Connected Century

TOKYO — Every Sunday, I prune my bonsai. Growth is a matter of managing limits. To cultivate is to practice Digital Minimalism in a physical form. The "Great Integration" must be as carefully managed as a juniper. If we allow it to grow unchecked, it will collapse under its own complexity. We need more "Bonsai Mind"—agile and connected, but patient and respectful of limits. Today, my tree is healthy, and the noise is finally quiet. The future is connected, but it must be carefully shaped. Pruning is not an act of destruction; it is an act of creation. Integration should be a celebration of our differences, not an erasure of them. See you on the other side of the audit.
