The Kangaroo Court of the Digital Age: The Hague Overreaches Again

THE HAGUE — The spectacle unfolding in The Hague today would be comical if it were not so dangerous. The International Criminal Court, an institution bloated with its own self-importance and lacking any true democratic mandate, has put the executives of AetherNet on trial. This is not justice; it is a globalist turf war masquerading as jurisprudence.

Make no mistake: AetherNet is a deeply flawed corporation that has consistently subverted national sovereignty in its pursuit of a borderless world. But the solution to corporate overreach is strong national governments, not an unelected tribunal in the Netherlands. "By claiming jurisdiction over 'Digital Colonialism,' the ICC is attempting to crown itself the supreme arbiter of the global internet," states Alistair Vance. "It is a power grab by a bureaucracy that answers to no one."

The Vane administration has rightly dismissed the proceedings as a farce. If AetherNet broke laws in West Africa, they should be tried in West African courts. By elevating this to an international tribunal, the APU elites are merely trying to establish a precedent that allows them to police the digital economy globally. We must reject the overreach of AetherNet, but we must equally reject the illegitimate authority of The Hague. True justice belongs to the sovereign state.
