The Martian Mirage: Globalist Fantasies and the Cost of Barley

MARS-1 BASE — The news today that the Mars-1 crew has "harvested" fifty grams of barley should be seen for what it is: a multi-billion pound piece of political theater. While the British people struggle with the price of a loaf of bread on the high street — a direct result of the globalist focus on "integrated markets" — the technocratic elite are celebrating a handful of space-grain that has cost more to produce than the entire agricultural output of Scotland.

The Martian Barley is the ultimate vanity project for a class of people who have abandoned their own heritage in favour of a "solar-identity." They want us to look at the red dust of Mars so we don’t notice the erosion of our own national sovereignty and the failure of our own energy grids. "It is a restoration of the distraction," notes Alistair Vance. "We are building greenhouses in the void while our own traditional farms are buried under the weight of APU regulations and 'Green-Mandates'."

Common sense tells us that we should be securing our own soil before we dream of the stars. The Mars-1 mission is a drain on our national resources and a distraction from the real work of the "Great Restoration." If we want to feed the world, we should start in the heartlands, not in an orbital laboratory. The Martian grain may be green, but for the hardworking people of Earth, the price is entirely too high.
