Enough is Enough: The Taxpayer’s Revolt Against Bureaucratic Bloat

SYDNEY — It was only a matter of time before the hardworking people of the United Kingdom stood up and said "no more." The massive riots currently engulfing London are the inevitable result of a government that has forgotten who it serves. For years, the British taxpayer has been squeezed to fund an ever-expanding bureaucracy, "green" initiatives that only serve to make energy unaffordable, and a "globalist" agenda that has done nothing but erode national identity. The breaking point has been reached.

While the liberal media tries to paint this as "chaos," it is, in fact, a clear message: people want their money back. They want to be able to provide for their families without having a significant portion of their income snatched away by a state that seems more interested in "integration" with the APU than in protecting its own citizens. The rumors of a sterling crisis are just the final spark in a tinderbox that has been building for a decade. A nation cannot tax its way to prosperity, and it certainly cannot tax its way out of an economic crisis of its own making.

“The British people are simply demanding common-sense,” Beatrice Whitmore says. “They are tired of being told to 'make sacrifices' while the technocrats in Brussels and the elites in Westminster continue to live in luxury. True freedom is the right to keep the fruits of your own labour. These riots aren't about 'hate' or 'inequality'—they are about the fundamental right to self-reliance. The Vane Administration’s isolationist policies might be the only thing that can save Britain from the disaster of being tethered to a failing, over-taxed continental system.” The taxpayer has spoken, and the message is loud and clear: enough is enough.
