The Illusion of Safety: Berlin Pays the Toll of the "Smart" City

SYDNEY — Day two of the Berlin Blackout, and the so-called "smartest" city in Europe is still learning a very dumb lesson: if your entire society relies on a Wi-Fi connection, you don't have a society; you have a hostage situation. The catastrophic failure of the German grid is a direct consequence of the globalist obsession with connecting every toaster, train, and turbine to an easily hackable cloud.

The "Candlelight Squares" that the liberal media is currently romanticizing are not a symbol of resilience; they are a sign of systemic regression. 20 million people shouldn't have to huddle around campfires in the 21st century because a few bureaucrats in Brussels thought "digital integration" sounded progressive. "We are surrendering our physical security for digital convenience," notes Bea Whitmore. "We need physical borders for our digital grids, plain and simple."

This is the harsh reality of the "Great Integration." When the infrastructure belongs to everyone, it belongs to no one, and nobody is truly responsible when it fails. The sovereign nations of the world, particularly Australia and the UK, must take a long, hard look at Berlin today. It is time to disconnect our vital systems from the global web, secure our national grids, and stop pretending that a "smart" city is a safe city. A nation that cannot defend its own power switch is a nation waiting to be conquered.
